11th Annual January Thaw Presented by Northern Lights Junior Volleyball

January 11 – 13, 2019

Omaha Convention Center

This event will be held in the Omaha CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

In 2019 the January Thaw Tournament will be held in conjunction with the 18’s Northern Lights National Qualifier Tournament. What this means for 18’s is that you can play in one of the three 18 Qualification Divisions of the NL Qualifier, or you can play in the 18’s non-qualification division of the NL January Thaw.

All necessary information about the 18’s NL National Qualifier can be seen on our Northern Lights Qualifier webpage.

The information below is for the January Thaw event only.

The schedule is now live!

The January Thaw will provide athletic trainers from Ortho Nebraska that will be on site at the Convention Center.

Due to teams attempting to circumvent the Stay & Play policy for the 18’s NL Qualifier in the past, we have now made the entire event a Stay & Play tournament.  All non-local teams (outside a 55 mile radius) are required to use our housing company, The THS Company, to make their hotel reservations.  This is the only way we can control the hotel rates for everyone.  Here is the link to the Stay and Play Policy for the January Thaw.

Hotel Reservations will open on the THS Reservation system on October 23.  Click here to go to the reservation page.
