    Favorite Volleyball Moment:
My favorite volleyball moment was day 4 of AAU in 2014 with 15-Black. The whole day was a wild ride that finished with us playing for a National Championship. The day started playing a very solid Sports Performance team, which was way bigger than us at the net, we found a way to beat them in 2 sets. On to the undefeated Puerto Rico team that had been destroying teams the first 3 days; we game plan and execute perfectly, find a way to knock them off in 2 sets. Gainesville Juniors up next, they were super athletic and physical, set 1 was a slug fest, that went extra points, but we get a couple breaks and win the set. Set 2 we cruise, on to the National Championship match. In front of a standing room only crowd and the 15-Red team playing for a championship on the court next to us, the environment was electric. With a perfect game plan and match ups just right, 15-Black executes at a high level and wins set 1 easy. Set 2 everything changes, their coach spins her lineup and gets their best hitter against our smallest blocker, set 2 we lose. Set 3 goes as scripted, side out volleyball with each team just exchanging points. 13-13 in the 3rd set, both teams could taste victory, a miscommunication on our side & ace serve, we lose 13-15. That's a moment / day that I will never forget in my life, just an incredible run by 9 players and 2 coaches believing in each other.
