TM2 Sign:  How to import your roster

Exporting Data

Please determine which of the three given situations you are in and follow the instructions for each below:

1)      Your USAV Region uses Webpoint

2)      Your USAV Region does not use Webpoint

–          North Country Region teams fit into this category

3)      Manual entry

–          For non-US based teams

1)      Your USAV Region uses Webpoint

Instructions can be found on www.TM2sign.com.

2)      Your USAV Region does not use Webpoint

Contact your region.  Ask for an export file with the names of your club members.  You should be able to upload the file you receive directly with no further edits.

3)      Manual entry

  1. Log into www.TM2sign.com
  2. Select “Members”
  3. Select “IMPORT Members”
  4. Under the section “Import from your own excel spreadsheet”, there is a template provided.  Manually enter your team’s info into the template.
  5. Save the file

Columns that are REQUIRED in the template are on this example, highlighted in yellow.

For Canadian teams only, you will find that you cannot fill out some of the columns in the template.  Please look at this example.  The same columns are required, but this example shows you what to input.

Importing Data

  1. Log into www.TM2sign.com.
  2. Select “Members”
  3. Select “IMPORT Members”
  4. If you used Webpoint to create your import file or if your region furnished you a file, click on the green button to import your file.
  5. If you used the template provided, click on the yellow button to import your file.

Now you have all the MEMBERS of your club in the TM2 system.   To put them onto the correct teams:

  1. From the dashboard, select “TEAMS”
  2. Select “Edit” next to the team you are updating.
  3. Select “ROSTER”
  4. Scroll down – select “+ADD PLAYERS”.  As you select players, input their jersey number as you go.
  5. Select  “+ADD STAFF”.  AS you select staff members, input their team role as you go.

Changes to Your Rosters

If you find you need to make changes to your roster after the initial input (the main roster or any tournament roster), you must change the roster you see on the page after you click “ROSTER”.

After you make changes, you can resubmit to the tournament in which the updated roster is needed.

You cannot independently edit your tournament rosters at this time.  Once you submit from the main roster on TM2, you would need to overwrite it again with the updated main roster.
